About & data sources
What Phở Labs is
Phở Labs is where the Phở Chat team curates and shares AI-for-biomedicine research, evidence-grounded clinical case studies, and build-in-public notes. The goal: help the Vietnamese medical and research community reach what's new faster, and show how Phở works with real evidence.
Editorial principles
- No fabricated sources. Every claim must have a real source or be labelled "unverified". This is the minimum bar for a clinician to trust it.
- Keep the original. A paper's title, abstract, and link stay in their original language; Phở's commentary is kept separate and never replaces the author's text.
- Synthetic patients. Case studies use reconstructed patients, never real patient data.
- Only show what's live. Features that aren't shipped are marked "coming", not demoed as if they exist.
Editorial & medical-review process
Content is written by the Phở Chat team. For clinical pieces we build on well-established, cited guidance; where the literature is unsettled or the evidence is insufficient, we label it clearly rather than state it with false certainty (cite-or-abstain).
Patients in case studies are reconstructed (synthetic), never real patient data. Content illustrates the tool's capability and does not replace medical advice for a specific case — clinical decisions belong to the physician.
When a piece has been reviewed by an independent medical expert, we name the reviewer at the top of the article. A piece without a named reviewer has not been independently reviewed — we do not apply a "medically reviewed" label unless that has actually happened.

The AI-bio paper list comes from the public repository
BioTender-max/icml2026-ai-bio, licensed
CC0-1.0 (public domain). Pinned at commit

315 papers (27 spotlight).
Phở stores only metadata (title, authors, topics, links) and a clearly attributed abstract excerpt. Copyright of the abstract and content belongs to the authors and OpenReview; Phở does not host any PDF, and every link points back to the original. The "why it matters" note is Phở's commentary.
